Ethos and Carl F. Bucherer proudly hosted the 2016 delWine Awards – India’s first wine excellence awards. Dedicated to honouring wine professionals across the hospitality industry, the event was organised at the Pullman Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi.
The evening kicked off with a spectacular wine tasting – the ‘Wines of the World Showcase’ where over 120 wines were presented by 12 leading producers and importers. The night also witnessed an exhibition of iconic timepieces from Carl F. Bucherer – the luxury Swiss brand from Lucerne. From the revolutionary Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec, the ultimate ‘skeletonized’ travel watch with three time zones – the Patravi TravelTec FourX to the enigmatic Carl F. Bucherer Alacria Swan, an elegant ladies watch that houses 1300 diamonds.
The incredible and educative ‘Wines of the World Showcase’ was followed by the first ever delWine Excellence Awards ceremony which was accompanied with an elaborate spread of fine food and a balanced selection of exquisite wines. With the who’s who of the wine and hospitality industry in attendance, the delWine award ceremony was the perfect night that combined the classic combination of wines and watches.
