Alpina Alpiner Extreme Quartz

The 2024 Alpina Alpiner Extreme Quartz introduces a more compact version, available in four vibrant colors with a high-precision quartz movement. Designed for both men and women, the 34mm cushion-shaped steel case comes in rock beige, sparkling pink, glacier blue, or leaf green dial colors. The first three options come with a steel case, while the blue and green dials are paired with matching rubber straps.

Dedicated to Alpina’s ultra-sporty range, these new versions feature a smaller steel case compared to the usual 41mm size. The cushion-shaped case ensures a snug fit on all wrist sizes and can easily be worn under a shirt for a more urban look. Despite its sporty design, the Alpiner Extreme Quartz maintains its Swiss Made heritage with polished and satin-finished surfaces, a lightly fluted crown, and a closed and screw-down caseback engraved with the Alpiner collection symbol.

With a smaller 34mm steel case, available in rock beige, sparkling pink, glacier blue, or leaf green dials, this watch caters to both men and women

The four dial options pay homage to the Alps, with the beige dial representing hiking, the sparkling pink dial symbolizing dawn in the mountains, the glacier blue dial reflecting the depth of the lakes, and the leafy green dial reminding of summer alpine vegetation. Each dial features Alpina’s triangular emblem, luminescent hands, and a discreet date window at 6 o’clock. Working within the timepiece is a trusty new quartz movement – a first for the Alpiner Extreme line. The AL-220 calibre offers 45 months of Swiss precision with a high resistance to shocks, outdoor activity and zero winding. 

Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic

At Watches & Wonders 2024, Alpina introduces the Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic, aiming to revolutionize the watch industry. This timepiece marks the first instance where Alpina utilizes its cushion-shaped Extreme case in the Seastrong collection.

A harmonious blend of land and sea elements, the watch features a distinctive 39mm steel case with an anthracite dial and an integrated steel bracelet from the Extreme line. Additionally, there are two other versions available: one with a navy dial paired with a matching rubber strap, and another with a black dial featuring an orange flange and a matching rubber strap. All editions of the watch hold a diver certification with three hands and a date display, boasting water resistance of up to 300 meters.

The textured dial showcases the Maison’s signature triangular motif, along with three hand-polished central hands and a date window positioned at 6 o’clock. The ceramic bezel, customary in dive watches, is notched and unidirectional. To ensure certified water resistance, the caseback is screwed down and engraved with the Seastrong motif, along with the notched crown at 3 o’clock. The AL-525 automatic movement, providing 38 hours of power reserve, is securely protected within the watch.
