At Watches and Wonders in April 2024, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen made an appearance at the IWC booth to unveil the new Portugieser novelties that the brand showcased at the fair this year. The IWC brand ambassador, who is also a philanthropist, and a New York Times bestselling author made a striking statement in a white pantsuit—a double-breasted crop jacket and baggy trousers.
Paired with this look was the brand-new Portugieser Chronograph in ‘horizon blue’—one of the sublime new shades of the Portugiesers this year, which also include ‘silver moon’ and ‘dune’. The new Portugieser novelties unveiled present subtle but impactful redesigning of certain elements. While an Obsidian Moon Phase was particularly impressive, the highlight was the Eternal Calendar.

Another brand ambassador who made quite the presence at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 was footballer Kylian Mbappé for Hublot. Crowds thronged the barricaded entrance of the Hublot booth, as they waited for French football player to make an appearance. He was at the fair to unveil the new Big Bang E UEFA Euro 2024 watch. This is the latest in Hublot’s line of smartwatches that have been created by the brand in their capacity as official timekeepers of football tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup. Mbappé posed for the cameras with Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe when he showed up. At the appearance, before unveiling the new Big Bang E, he was wearing an Hublot Big Bang Unico Chronbograph in Magic Gold, which is Hublot’s scratch resistant gold alloy.

David Beckham At An Inter Miami CF Match
Football superstar David Beckham was seen at a recent game of the Inter Miami CF football team, which he had founded. While he was dressed formally in a classic navy blue suit, his watch was a sporty chronograph timepiece from the Tudor Black Bay Chronograph. This edition, which was unveiled just days before Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024, was reportedly made in celebration of Tudor’s association with Beckham. Inspired by the pink livery of Inter Miami FC, the pink dial has been the talk of the town since it was launched, and had generated a lot of buzz in Geneva as well during Watches and Wonders. With a bicompx layout featuring black sub-dials that complement the tachymeter bezel, this timepiece is fitted with a Jubilee-style five-link bracelet.

Novak Djokovik At The Laureus World Sports Awards In April 2024
Tennis player Novak Djokovik won the title of Laureus World Sportsman of the Year at the Laureus World Sports Awards 2024. Presently the world’s number one tennis player, Djokovik happens to be a brand ambassador for Hublot watches. Hence he was wearing a Hublot timepiece at the event. This was the Spirit of Big Bang All Black Pavé. The tonneau-shaped, generously-sized case was clearly visible on his wrist, as he was holding the mic with that hand.
