A limited edition of 188 pieces, the super sporty Manero Central Counter features a DLC-treated black bezel that surrounds a black sunray-brushed dial

A limited edition of 188 pieces, the Carl F. Bucherer Manero Central Counter finds its home inside a 42.5mm stainless steel case, which features a distinctive DLC-treated black bezel. The gorgeous green details on the watch face come together to complement its hybrid rubber strap in black and olive green, with a brushed texture, which comes equipped with a quick-release system and stainless steel pin-lock folding clasp. The steel body has been paired with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and caseback with sapphire crystal, while offering the watch water resistance up to 30m.

The stunning black sunray-brushed dial unveils an ingenious minute track, segmented into purposeful sectors. Contrasting white and green elements signify extra time and additional time, respectively, harmonising with 12 black Super-LumiNova-filled rectangular index markers for exceptional night-time visibility. The Manero Central Counter is powered by the automatic CFB 1967 chronograph movement, which amasses a power reserve of 44 hours, enabling functions such as a chronograph with a central minute and seconds counter, tachymeter, 24-hour day-and-night indication, date, hour, minute, and small seconds.

Simple, Yet Appealing And Powerful

Effortlessly fusing sophistication and utility, the Manero Central Counter seeks your attention with its uncluttered dial, featuring only two counters and only a few markings. While the transparent caseback renders a splendid view of the self-winding movement, the back comes etched with ‘limited edition’ and the piece number. The case’s polished bevel on the lugs also immediately captures the admiration of those who appreciate the intricacies of fine watchmaking.

Carl F. Bucherer may not have announced it as one of the watch’s inventive features, but the minute track can also be used as a timing tool in football, with sectors helping the wearer to time halves of a match, along with extra and stoppage times. A sturdy yet discreet upgrade, low-profile buttons replace the pump pushers that are featured on other Manero models. Together, all its style and functions result in a stunningly versatile sports watch, adding fresh, dynamic energy to the chic range of Manero chronographs.
