The Emmys 2023 were postponed from last year due to strikes in Hollywood, which began with the writers’ strike and then escalated with actors getting involved. With work in Hollywood coming to a standstill, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards did not take place in the second half of September as they usually do, and the show was pushed to January 2024. The awards ceremony unfolded on January 15, and saw a terrific turnout of stars from some of the most popular TV shows from recent years, such as Succession, Ted Lasso, Loki and The White Lotus. Actors from these series, and several others, were seen wearing watches from IWC, Jacob & Co, Omega and Panerai.

Musician Charlie Puth performed at the Emmys 2023 for the ‘in memoriam’ presentation. His medley ended with ‘I’ll be there for you’—the theme song of iconic TV show Friends—while the visual presentation ended with the beloved Friends star Matthew Perry, who died in October 2023.
