TAG Heuer Carrera Three Hands
Ryan Gosling At Multiple Premieres Of The Gray Man
Signed on by TAG Heuer as a brand ambassador just last year, Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling is known to make an impression with his style. Now, leading the cast of The Gray Man—Netflix’s biggest-budget original movie to date—Gosling has been making waves with appearance after dashing appearance. Seen at premiere screenings in various cities, as well as at an event by TAG Heuer to celebrate their ambassador and his film, Gosling has been seen sporting a Carrera Three Hands in steel, with a silver-hued dial. While the actor wore the leather-strap version of the watch off-screen at all these events, in the Netflix action-thriller itself, he wears the Carrera with a steel bracelet. “We are thrilled to partner with Netflix for The Gray Man. Not only does it star our very own brand ambassador in the form of Hollywood icon Ryan Gosling, but with a cast that also includes Chris Evans and Regé-Jean Page, and with the Russo brothers directing, is the must-watch movie of 2022. And what else would Gosling’s unflappable Sierra Six wear than a TAG Heuer Carrera Three Hands,” said TAG Heuer CEO Frédéric Arnault in a statement about the watch being featured in the film.
Gosling sports the 39mm watch, in character as CIA operative Sierra Six, in key-art images shot by photographer Pari Dukovic.
IWC Pilot’s Watch and Portofino chronographs
Chris Evans At Multiple Premieres Of The Gray Man
Gosling’s co-star, Chris Evans has also been seen at all the premiere events, for the film that paired him again with the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joseph, who had directed Evans in at least four Marvel movies. The former Captain America, who has been a friend of the IWC brand for some time, was seen wearing two different chronographs from the Schaffhausen-based manufacturers.
The one that he wore to the Berlin premiere was most definitely the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph in steel with a black dial, which he’s even worn before. At the London premiere, he appears to have worn a Portofino Chronograph with a brown leather strap.
Longines Elegant
Regé-Jean Page At The Gray Man Los Angeles Premiere
Yet another brand-affiliate, actor and Longines brand ambassador Regé-Jean Page was seen with Gosling and Evans, and their co-star Ana de Armas at the Los Angeles premiere of The Gray Man, wearing a blue suit. And paired with it was what appeared to be a Longines Elegant automatic watch with a complementing blue dial. The sunray-finished dial is actually quite elegant, with elongated indexes and sleek hands. The three-hand timekeeper, with a date display, is set in a 39mm steel case.
Longines Présence
Kate Winslet At The Wimbledon
While Page joined the Longines family just last year, Oscar and Emmy winner Kate Winslet has been with Longines for about 12 years. The brand’s ‘ambassadress of elegance’ was one of the bigger stars at the finals of Wimbledon 2022. Winslet turned up in a pale blue-and-white floral day dress and brown suede shoes. The British actress picked golden jewellery to go with the ensemble, and a gold watch to match. It doesn’t seem clear, but our best guess is that it’s a Longines Présence, with a golden-hued dial, but with a custom beige-gold strap. Do you think it’s the right one?
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M
Prince William At Wimbledon
It’s not uncommon to see royalty at the prestigious tennis Grand Slam tournament. Not only have duchesses and countesses attended Wimbledon matches, even the queen herself has been in the royal box in the past. This year, Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their son, Prince George to Wimbledon. While the Duchess of Cambridge was seen wearing a Cartier Ballon Bleu on at least one occasion, the Duke of Cambridge wore his Omega Seamaster Diver 300M on more than one occasion. The prince has been spotted wearing this watch before. With a dial and bezel in blue, this here is a true icon of timekeeping—definitely fit for royalty.
Omega De Ville Trésor
Andrew Garfield At Wimbledon
Another Omega at Wimbledon, and another personality who’s been seen wearing his watch before—here is Andrew Garfield. The actor, who recently earned an Emmy nomination for his limited series Under the Banner of Heaven, was seen in quintessential daytime attire in linen and beige. However, he chose what one might perceive as an evening dress watch—most likely the Omega De Ville Trésor, which he even wore to the Tony Awards last month. The three-hand Master Chronometer, with a co-axial manual-winding movement, features a finely textured white dial, housed within a 40mm white gold case. It’s quite possible that the Trésor that Garfield wears is in steel, which has a plain white dial.
Breitling Navitimer Chronograph B01
Brad Pitt At Bullet Train Paris Premiere
Brad Pitt made headlines with his appearance at the Berlin premiere of his latest movie Bullet Train, to which he wore a brown linen skirt, and somehow pulled it off. The breezy nature of the unique outfit seemed to be the Oscar winner’s theme for his red-carpet appearances for the action-comedy film. At the Paris premiere, he was seen in a casual peach-coloured suit, and sepia-toned sunglasses. In contrasting colours was a Breitling Navitimer chronograph in 43mm steel, with a steel bracelet, and powered by the B01 in-house automatic calibre. Pitt, who is a part of Breitling’s ‘cinema squad’ of ambassadors, along with Charlize Theron and Adam Driver, has otherwise usually been seen wearing Breitling’s Premier watches.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M
Aaron Taylor Johnson At Bullet Train Berlin Premiere
Pitt’s Bullet Train co-star, Aaron Taylor Johnson went casual as well to the Berlin premiere of the movie. The English actor, who played Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron, went for an all-black ensemble, and complemented it with an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in steel and black. Johnson wore this watch at more than one premiere of the film.
