The elegant and distinctive Constellation Manhattan was described by Omega as the modern version of the Constellation that debuted in 1952. Since then, this coveted line has undergone many changes, but its iconic look is still recognisable. This year’s new ladies’ range comprises 101 stellar models, across three sizes—25mm, 28mm and 29mm—set in the trademarked Omega 18-karat Sedna or yellow gold, or in steel. Each one exhibits the aesthetic essence of the signature Manhattan look.
What makes this collection truly special are the four big updates. All four jewellery models are characterised by exquisite dials made from white opal, encrusted with precious stones— diamonds, rubies, blue sapphires or emeralds—forming the indexes that reflect the baguette-cut style inspired by Manhattan’s skyline.
The mono-rang bracelets are set with 192 brilliant-cut diamonds and four Constellation ‘star-cut’ diamonds arranged in a shooting star pattern. Each of the 29mm variants of the glamorous timepiece is equipped with a Master Chronometer movement, which guarantees precision, performance and magnetic resistance. A slender bezel, as well as slimmer claws, and polished, bevelled edges found along the case and bracelet, lend a new touch of elegance and finesse to these timepieces.
For even more refined sensibilities, Omega offers an exclusive model that stands distinguished with its glistening blue aventurine glass dial—available in 29mm in Sedna gold. The alluring effect of bright metal crystals suspended inside the dial is what makes this timepiece unique. Achieved by adding metal oxides during the glass production process, the beautifully translucent glass is complemented by an 18-karat Sedna gold bracelet with mid-bar links, and is driven by the Omega Master Chronometer calibre 8701.
