Acknowledging the sizeable market of small watches for petite wrists are the mid-level Swiss watchmakers Titoni with new iterations to their feminine line titled, Miss Lovely. The 33.5mm models look resplendent, flaunting mother-of-pearl dials and interchangeable colourful straps to suit all kinds of moods, sartorial choices, and occasions.

Prismatic Miss Lovely

The new Miss Lovely variants are three-hand, time-only watches that fall under the category of dress watches. All the iterations, either from stainless steel or coated in rose gold PVD, or stainless steel with PVD-coated rose gold bezel, exude a dainty flourish. Despite having a small build and case size, they manage to draw attention owing to the highly polished surfaces and quintessential prismatic lustre of the mother-of-pearl dials. Furthermore, 12 glittering stones like cherries on a cake assume the role of hour and minutes indexes on this dial placed in either steel or rose gold settings, as that of the case.

The hour, minutes and sweeping seconds hands are either in natural stainless steel or rose gold PVD coating. The oval-shaped skeleton hour hand with a triangular tip, however, deserves a special mention as its uniqueness lends character to the watch dial. Giving the wristwatch further identity is the Titoni logo, a tiny five-petal plum blossom reflecting the brand’s values of ‘endurance, vitality and resilience’, positioned below the 12 o’clock hour marker. Adding a last hint of sparkle to the 33.5mm case is the crown at three o’clock, set with a pink crystal.

Enclosed within is the ETA 2671 automatic movement, certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) for their accuracy. The movement is the based on the famed Sellita SW100 movement that beats at 28,800vph and guarantees 40 hours of power reserve. A glimpse of the movement is viewable via the transparent caseback that reveals its 18-karat gold-plated oscillating rotor scrawled with black branding that spells ‘Titoni of Switzerland’. Anti-reflective and double curved sapphire crystals seal the front and caseback, and also responsible for the overall quotient of water resistance upto 50m.

The Multi-Faceted Miss Lovely

Watch enthusiasts will appreciate the patented strap interchangeability by Titoni. Enabling the quick-change system on the bracelet and straps are two buttons and pins at the end of the brand’s 17.15mm wide options of straps—an integrated steel bracelet or leather strap in one of six shades of red, blue, grey, pink, green, and nude.
