The Breitling Chronomat, initially launched in 1941, has a rich history rooted in aviation. After a hiatus post-war, the Chronomat resurfaced in 1969 with an automatic chronograph movement and in 1984, it was reintroduced with distinctive rider tabs on its bezel, designed for pilots, coinciding with Breitling's centenary.
