Corum Lab 01

Essence

The Corum Lab collection is about preserving the future and the past. Corum was known for creating a path of its own with timepieces such as the Golden Bridge and Admiral by amalgamating heritage and innovation.Apart from bridging the gaps, the Lab collection is known for its openwork movement. Be it the movement or the case, the Lab collection has withstood the test of time. With seamless lugs flowing into the strap, the Lab 01 is unique both because of its shape and the movement that is fitted inside it.Meanwhile, Lab 02 takes a much more vintage approach with a round dial and traditional lugs but carries the idea of openwork movement for which the Lab collection is known.

Design

The Corum Lab collection is divided into two series, the 01 and the 02. The two series employed under the collection follow the same ideology but with two very different design ideologies. Lab 01 is equipped with a tonneau case and dons an openwork movement. Whereas, Lab 02 is a perfect example of aesthetic perfection and extraordinary craftsmanship. The highly complicated manual movement stretches the imagination as well as the physical constraints of watchmaking.

Features

The Corum Lab collection features an open-work dial in the two different series employed under the collection. Particularly for Lab 01, the movement has been specifically designed to fit inside the tonneau case. The crown on the Lab 01 series is fitted at 6 o'clock and the Corum emblem on the strap sits like a cherry on a pie.
