About the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Quartz Collection

History

Back in the 1990s, Maurice Lacroix decided to launch the Calypso collection taking its design schemes from the Calypso timepiece launched in the 1980s. The Calypso collection was one of the most famed collections inside Maurice Lacroix and was discontinued in 2003. In 2016, the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Quartz collection was launched after the success of Aikon Automatic.

Design & Features

The Maurice Lacroix Aikon Quartz collection is equipped with features such as Chronograph and Date. Available in three different dial sizes, the Aikon Quartz collection is for both men and women. For women, the Aikon Quartz is available in a 35mm case and is also home to a variant with a mother-of-pearl dial. Whereas, inside the Aikon Quartz Chronograph series, the chronographs are fitted at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock markers. Carrying the design from the 90s era Maurice Lacroix, the Aikon Quartz is fitted with a six-arm bezel. Apart from the bezel, the sharp edges of the case are contrasted with the round bezel portraying the Aikon as a sports watch. Whereas, the lugs are firmly integrated with the strap and bracelet providing it with a sturdier appearance.
