MeisterSinger Phanero Green

Essence

The MeisterSinger Casual collection is primarily equipped with the Phanero series. The only exception here is the Salthora Meta X, a watch that won the RedDot design award in 2018. The Casual collection follows the tradition of MeisterSinger of employing just one hand for both minutes and hours. The idea behind placing just one hand on the dial for both hours and minutes is to let people understand the value of time and the passing moment. With this in mind, the watchmakers at the German watch manufacturer decided to produce a collection of watches that would go with the ideology of the brand.

Phanero

The MeisterSinger Phanero series was launched in Baseworld 2016 with other iterations from the brand. This MeisterSinger series is unique because it caters primarily to the unisex and women segment. This is primarily due to the size of the case which is limited to 35mm. Apart from the case size, a few watches inside the series are also equipped with a white Mother-of-Pearl dial.

Salthora Meta X

Deviating from the philosophy of MeisterSinger, the Salthora Meta X is a timepiece with unique proportions and features. The hours and minutes are not displayed by just one hand for starters. Instead, the single sword marks the minutes and the window at the 12 o'clock marker displays hours. The hour jumps to the next hour, making it a ‘jumping hour' timepiece. The movement is specifically modified for accommodating the jumping hour function. Surrounding the dial is a rotating ceramic bezel providing the timepiece with a chunkier, sportier look.

Movement

Inside the MeisterSinger Casual collection, the Sellita SW 210 works as the primary workhorse. The manually-winded movement offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours and vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph. As is the case with the collection, there is one exception. The MeisterSinger Salthora Meta X is fitted with a different movement to incorporate the jumping hour feature. Inside the Salthora is a Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement.
