Tom Ford 001

History

Made in collaboration with Bedrock Manufacturing Company, the Tom Ford 001 collection was launched in 2018. Tom Ford, a designer, has previously designed watches for Gucci, YSL, and Boucheron. Post releasing himself as a brand, Tom Ford wanted to expand the horizon of accessories with his famed minimalistic/chic design elements that got Gucci out of its tumultuous period.

Features

Symmetry is the primary aspect of the Tom Ford 001 collection. Keeping the world waiting for almost a year and a half, the Tom Ford label released its first watch model in 2018. Simply named the Tom Ford 001, the watch blended minimalistic design with classic Swiss watchmaking standards. With the advantage of customizable dial colour and a variety of strap material (metal, braided and stitched leather, alligator strap, etc.) the popularity of the rectangular watch led to the label releasing its second model, the round Tom Ford 002 wristwatch.

Design

The rectangular Tom Ford 001 collection is a perfectly balanced collection of timepieces. With a minimalistic aperture, the collection dons the heart and mind of Tom Ford on the wearer's wrist. A complacent dial and Arabic numerals perfectly capture the essence of the brand's timeless heritage.
