About the Corum Bubble Collection
History
The Corum Bubble is really an iconic collection for Corum, the alternative being the Golden Bridge series of course. It was first revealed in 2000 and became subsequently discontinued some years ago. After a few years of hiatus, the collection was revived again and still dons the collection suite of Corum.
Features
Severin Wunderman was inspired by an experimental deep-sea dive watch from the 1960s, which was fitted with an enormous domed crystal to withstand the pressure of the ocean. That formed the genesis of the Corum Bubble collection, one of the most recognizable wristwatches with its domed crystal. Initially, the Corum Bubble was just available in a 44mm dial but now it has broadened its horizon to 42mm, 47mm, and 52mm. The most recognizable feature of the Corum Bubble collection is the domed crystal. The avant-garde nature of the brand is perfectly reflected in the Bubble collection. Whereas, the bubble-shaped crown also adorns the timepieces in this collection with great perfection.
Design
Another factor making this futuristic set of timepieces a collection that nobody can miss is the design of the dials. The free-ranging designs range from Joker to a print X-Ray. This progressive design ideology perfectly fits with Corum's idea of manufacturing watches.
