About the MeisterSinger Classic Plus Collection
Backdrop
With a collection of watches that reflects a sense of minimalism, MeisterSinger decided to experiment with various complications and features. The MeisterSinger Classic Plus collection is filled with watches such as the Unomat, Astroscope, Perigraph, and Pangaea Day Date. With MeisterSinger's idea of displaying time with just one hand, the Classic Plus collection builds over the unique idea with unique complications and designs. What makes this collection interesting is that each and every series under the collection is awarded the RedDot design award.
The Unomat
MeisterSinger is known for creating dress watches but with the advent of Unomat, the brand has invited itself into the sports watch arena. An amalgamation of a diving watch and a dress watch, the Unomat is equipped with a 43mm stainless steel case with an extra-strong screwed case back. Apart from the case back, the timepiece offers a water-resistance capability of up to 300 meters or 1000ft as stamped on the dial. The robust Unomat also offers anti-magnetic and anti-shock capabilities coupled with a protected crown. It also features a larger date window over the 6 o'clock marker. Unomat offers precise timekeeping abilities with the Sellita SW 400 movement. The SW 400 is an automatic movement that offers a power reserve of up to 38 hours and vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph.
The Astroscope
MeisterSinger has a way of telling time and it is quite different from the other watchmakers. Refining the idea of timekeeping, the Astroscope also has a distinct way of displaying the Days. Taking its inspiration from Norse mythology, the Days are featured through heavenly bodies crafted inside the dial. For better reference, the actual days are also placed above the signs. The classification is as follows: Monday - The Moon, Tuesday - Mars, Wednesday - Mercury, Thursday - Jupiter, Friday - Venus, Saturday - The Sun, Sunday - The Sun.The Astroscope is equipped with the Sellita SW 220 automatic movement. The automatic movement offers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours and vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph.
The Perigraph
Perigraph has a unique way of displaying the date. Perigraph is equipped with a rotating ring inside the dial with printed dates. The dates are pointed with a marker at 12 o'clock above the MeisterSinger logo. This concentric ring tells the date while the hour and the minute marker are denoted by a single hand. Encased in a 43mm dial, the Perigraph is home to various colour schemes such as yellow, green, and pink. These coloured trimmings are on the date ring and hour markers.
The Pangaea Day Date
An advanced version of the Pangaea from the Classic collection, the Pangaea Day Date features two concentric rings each displaying day and date. The day and date are marked by a marker set above the MeisterSinger logo on the 12 o'clock marker. Pangaea Day Date is also available in different colours such as green, blue, white, and pink.
