Oris partners with London’s Bamford Watch Department to reimagine its most technical pilot’s watch: the ProPilot Altimeter. Limited to 250 pieces, the “Mission Control” edition introduces Bamford’s playful, space-inspired aesthetic to the world’s only automatic watch equipped with a mechanical altimeter. Bright, high-tech accents energise the dial while retaining the legibility and function required of professional instruments. Beneath the surface lies the calibre 793-1, offering a 56-hour power reserve and stop-seconds mechanism for precise time-setting. Its altimeter function measures both air pressure and altitude, a hallmark innovation unique to Oris. The 47mm case is crafted from carbon fibre composite, a material lighter than plastic yet stronger than steel, with titanium elements in grey PVD for strength and wearability. Paired with a textile strap, domed sapphire crystal, and 100 metres of water resistance, the “Mission Control” is a bold, high-performance tribute to adventurous spirit and contemporary design.
